Simon Irish

Head of MGS in North America

Simon Irish is Head of MGS' New York Office and a member of the investment and management committees of Man Global Strategies. He is responsible principally for the origination of North American investment opportunities and the subsequent due diligence process.

He joined Man Global Strategies in 2002 and he has 9 years experience in the Hedge Fund industry starting in 1999 at a large Fund of Funds where he was the director of the U.S. subsidiary and portfolio manager for U.S. portfolios.

Mr. Irish was previously employed by Credit Suisse Financial Products as a derivative quantitative analyst, structurer and trader. He holds an MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, an MSc in Finance from London Business School and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.
