Regional Head of Product Structuring U.S. and Head of Legal, Man Investments (U.S.A.)

Orly Lax heads the U.S. Legal team and U.S. Product Structuring team for Man Investments Inc. Ms. Lax is responsible for providing general U.S. legal services and overseeing the construction of alternative investment products to suit the needs of Man Investments’ U.S. Institutional and retail clients.

Ms. Lax began her career at Man Investments in 2004, as head of U.S. legal structuring for the Investment Structures Group. During that time, she focused on Man Investments fund-of-funds legal due diligence, managed accounts platforms, and seeding deals.

Prior to joining Man Investments in 2000, Ms. Lax was an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman working in their Financial Services Group.

Ms. Lax received her JD, magna cum laude, from Benjamin N Cardozo School of Law as well as attaining Order of the Coif status. She also received her BS in Finance, magna cum laude, from Yeshiva University in New York. Ms. Lax is a member of the Managed Futures Association and speaks regularly at hedge fund conferences relating to current hedge fund legal issues.
