Regional Head of Legal and Product Legal

Orly Lax heads the US Legal and Product Legal teams of Man Investments and is based in New York City, New York, USA. Orly is responsible for providing general U.S. legal services and overseeing the construction of alternative investment products to suit the needs of Man Investments’ various clients. Previously, she headed US legal structuring for the Investment Structures group, focusing on Man’s fund of funds legal due diligence, managed accounts platforms and seeding deals.

Prior to joining Man in 2000, Orly was an associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman working in the Financial Services group.

Orly Lax received her JD (magna cum laude) from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law as well as attaining Order of the Coif status. She also received her B.S. in finance (magna cum laude) from Yeshiva University. She is a member of the Managed Futures Association and speaks regularly at hedge fund conferences.
